Our church family started with humble beginnings in 1946, purchasing a 20'x48' chicken house, "Green Gable Laying House" from the Linn County Produce Company. It served as a house of worship for the first families of Our Savior's.

In 1952, a ground-breaking ceremony was held, and construction began on a permanent church building, which was dedicated on October 25, 1953.
In 1960 additions to the building were dedicated that increased worship, classroom and fellowship space. Since that time, numerous remodels have been completed, with the most recent being in 2011 that saw the sanctuary and God's foyer being dedicated on June 26, 2011.
Over the years the church building has seen many changes, but the passion of biblical teaching, worship and mission has remained our central purpose since 1946.
A night sky filled with stars reminds
us that Abraham’s descendants would
be as many as the stars.
Our History & Our Stained Glass Windows:
The Nativity points to the humble
setting into which the Son of God
was born.
The baptism of Jesus is symbolized
by the shell, three drops of water,
and the waves below.
The three crosses of Good Friday.
The chalice and wafer are symbols of
the Last Supper on Holy Thursday.
The arrival of the Holy Spirit at
Pentecost.
The bright and beautiful butterfly
symbolizes our resurrected Lord.
